The workshop will take place at the Nicolson Square Methodist Church, Nicolson Square, Edinburgh EH8 9BX. The venue is off Nicolson Street (South Bridge), about 10 mins walk from Waverley Station. For lunch, we will be going to the nearby Ciao Roma Italian restaurant (64 South Bridge, EH1 1LS).

Join Mario Alonzi, a seasoned entrepreneur and trusted business adviser, as he leads our workshop on “Tax Confidence for Translators and Interpreters”. With over two decades of diverse business management experience, Mario has founded and developed enterprises in both the hospitality and fitness industries. His extensive background has provided him with a wealth of knowledge in navigating the complexities of business finances and taxation.
Mario has spent many years as a volunteer with the Prince’s Trust, passionately supporting young entrepreneurs on their journeys to business success. He understands the unique challenges faced by small businesses and solopreneurs, helping them to adapt to new digital tax regulations.
In this workshop, Mario will combine his practical business acumen with his financial expertise to demystify the digital tax system for translators and interpreters. Whether you’re new to freelancing or looking to optimise your existing setup, Mario’s guidance will ensure you leave well-prepared to tackle your tax obligations with confidence.
