 d local entrepreneur Mario Alonzi\, we'll cover what support you can get f
 rom Business Gateway\, the nitty-gritty of being a sole trader versus sett
 ing up a limited company\, how to handle Making Tax Digital\, and the ins 
 and outs of VAT registration. Ideal for freelancers and small business own
 ers looking to get their affairs in order\, this session will give you the

  on "Tax Confidence for Translators and Interpreters". With over two decad
 es of diverse business management experience\, Mario has founded and devel
 oped enterprises in both the hospitality and fitness industries. His exten
 sive background has provided him with a wealth of knowledge in navigating 
 the complexities of business finances and taxation.\nMario has spent many 
 years as a volunteer with the Prince’s Trust\, passionately supporting y
 oung entrepreneurs on their journeys to business success. He understands t
 he unique challenges faced by small businesses and solopreneurs\, helping 
 them to adapt to new digital tax regulations.\nIn this workshop\, Mario wi
