I am a conscientious and methodical English>French scientific (Life Sciences) and technical translator with a broad translation experience and a professional background in scientific research, having completed a PhD in animal biology and worked as a research assistant then as a research associate for over 5 years in the field of musculoskeletal diseases. Over the course of my scientific career, I managed a number of studies looking at the causes of arthritis and I was a lead scientist on a successful osteoarthritis drug development program. I am extremely well organised, possess a highly developed analytical mind and thoroughly proven problem solving skills as well as excellent literary abilities. I have followed a rigorous and intensive training to become a skilled linguist and obtained the Dip Trans Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Linguists in 2016.
