In with the new?
I’m writing this in late(ish) January, but it already feels like 2025 is moving quickly,
not least because the weather has shifted from a heavy frost to mild temperatures
within the space of around 10 days. That said, I did also hear the all-too-familiar-
by-now words “named storm” on the radio this morning, so more change is no doubt
coming soon. (Update from a few days later: it was Éowyn.)
There’s also something about years with 5 or 0 at the end that – to me, at least – feel
like we’ve now reached “the future” and are steadily hurtling through time. No matter
how alarming the pace of things moving along might feel, however, ScotNet always
feels like a stalwart presence ...
