| Profile | I am an experienced translator working from English and French into my mother tongue German (specialising in German for Switzerland). My qualifications include an MSc in Translation and Computer-Assisted Translation Tools and a BA in Translation, and I am a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI). I specialise in the areas of marketing, tourism, journalism and literature. I completed a PhD in Translation Studies at the University of Edinburgh in 2023. My doctoral research investigated the translation of linguistic variation in literary texts from a theoretical and practical perspective. |
