As a new member of ScotNet and a new freelancer just starting my career in the UK, I cannot stress enough how important and helpful it has been being a member of such a supportive and friendly professional community. The Committee has been here for the members through these hard times with information and support, and fellow members have helped anyone with questions or problems. ScotNet and the people behind it are committed to providing us with resources and tools, webinars, events for our professional development, and keeping us in the loop with the newsletter. Joining the ITI and ScotNet has definitely helped me develop as a translator and a freelance professional.
